Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you book and take lessons with Nadezhda Mochenova. By paying for a lesson or package, you agree to them. Please read them before booking.

1. Who provides the lessons

Lessons are provided by Nadezhda Sergeevna Mochenova (Моченова Надежда Сергеевна), self-employed. Contact: nadyarussianteacher@gmail.com or Instagram.

2. The service

• Individual online Russian lessons.
• Video calls take place in Microsoft Teams; exercises and materials are on the Holst online platform.
• A regular lesson lasts 55 minutes. The trial lesson lasts 30 minutes.

3. Booking

Lessons are booked by messaging the teacher on Instagram. Before paying, please agree on the lesson time and details with the teacher. A lesson is confirmed once the time is agreed and payment is received.

4. Prices and payment

• Current prices are shown on the website in US dollars.
• Payment is made through Boosty. Boosty’s terms apply to the payment itself; any fees or currency conversion charged by Boosty or your bank are outside our control.
• A receipt is issued for every payment in accordance with Russian tax law.

5. Packages

• Packages of 4 or 8 lessons are available.
• A package is valid for 2 months from the date of purchase. Lessons not used within this period expire.

6. Cancelling and rescheduling

• If you cancel 24 hours or more before the lesson, it is rescheduled at no cost.
• If you cancel less than 24 hours before the lesson, or don’t attend, the lesson is counted as taken and is not refunded.
• If a lesson can’t take place because of a technical problem on the teacher’s side, it is rescheduled.

7. Refunds

Payments for lessons and packages are non-refundable. That’s why we ask you to agree on the time and details with the teacher before paying.

8. During lessons

• Please join on time and make sure you have a stable internet connection.
• Lessons are not recorded unless you and the teacher have agreed to it in advance.

9. Copyright and use of materials

All content on this website and in the lessons — texts, the free starter guide, lesson materials, exercises, photos and design — is © Nadezhda Mochenova and protected by copyright.

• You may use the materials for your own learning.
• You may not copy, resell, publish, distribute or use the materials to teach others without written permission.
• You are welcome to share a link to this website or recommend the free guide to friends.

10. Results

Lessons are planned around your goals and level, but progress also depends on your own practice, so specific results (for example, passing an exam) cannot be guaranteed.

11. Changes

These terms may be changed. The version published on this page at the time of your payment applies to that purchase.
